Dear Karon, I can't tell you how sad I felt to see your message about Mark's passing. I have known him for a very long time through badminton - almost 20 years I would guess. He was always such a grand man and gentleman. My last recollection of him - and you, was being driven through Quebec City during the Canadian Masters there - 2012, downtown from the university - one of the many lovely and thoughtful things he would do for anyone. He always displayed a fine sense of humour and a wisdom that I really admired and appreciated. I can only imagine how changed life will be for you and his family without him. My father (98) died this year as well. I am visualizing them meeting each other - they seemed to be cut from the same cloth. Hopefully there is quite a party up there this year with Nelson Mandela, Rita McNeil, Peter O'Toole, Roger Ebert, Tom Clancy and Edye Gorme Mark and my father! I will always remember Mark and knowing him (and you) have me my world brighter. I will miss him.
