Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013 in his 82nd year, with his loving family by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Karon (Masterson). Devoted father of Judy Anderson (Danny), Mark Jr. (Andrea, nee Standish), Debbie (Dino DiPietro), Michael (Radenko Karaic), and step-father of Elizabeth Glover (Peter Cianfaglione) and Mark Glover. Much loved Grandpa/Papa to Sarah, Nicola, Dylan and Emily Anderson; Jennifer (Dan Sooley), Zachary and Adam Grantham; Kristofer and Kayla DiPietro; and Kristen, Emma, Bridget, Brandon, Jessica, Luke and Trevor Cianfaglione. Born in Quebec City to the late Lawrence Grantham and Alma (Tremblay). Brother of Mariette Villeneuve, Louise Hayden (Jack), Lilianne Grantham, and pre-deceased by sister Nicole Provost and brother Lawrence. Loved and cherished by many extended family members and firends, including those at the RA Badminton Club where he was well known. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave., at Richmond Rd., Sunday, December 8 at 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave., on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 10:30am. Sincere thanks are extended to the compassionate and caring staff of the ICU at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa.
