Dear Marcia and Richard; I was surprised and saddened when, as I prepared breakfast this morning, my wife brought me the news that Grace had died. Grace and I were a happy team working in the courtyard of her former home. I recall the days we planted marigolds and ageratum (deer would not eat them)back in the eighties. The Riverwood Conservancy had yet to evolve into one of Mississauga's most successful charitable agencies. Then it was The Mississauga Garden Council. Despite her age and the heat of the sun, Grace was there with me, joking, relating tales of what it had been like to have lived there with Hyl and loving every minute of the hot work. She felt she was back home. Grace has left me with a wealth of wonderful memories of visits to our home, both business and social meetings here, lunches together, visits to Riverwood and the visits my wife and I had with her in Bronte. Grace was a lovely, lovely lady and a great friend to have had. Pat and I will miss her. A donation will be sent from my wife and I to The Riverwood Conservancy in her name. Charlie and Pat Brown
