Condolence: I only just learned of Didi's passing today, so I am very sorry for this late message. I volunteered with Didi early in my conservation career in the early 1990's at Parks, and I remember her vividly and fondly. She was a wonderful, generous, intelligent and witty person and I know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. My deepest condolences to her friends and family.

Condolence: I am just back from California and have only now received the sad news of Didi's passing. I have very fond memories of Didi's bright eyes and mischievous grin and of her generous nature. It was a privilege for me to be the Director of the Branch where Didi always amazed me with her skills and competence as a conservator. To Rolland and her family I offer my sincere condolences.

Condolence: My heart breaks when I think of what my beautiful, courageous friend has been through these past years ... we have shared many memories together dating back to our childhood when we used to charge the neighborhood children to watch us dance to the "Batman" song on my portable record player, play Tom Sawyer and build rafts that sunk in the middle of the lake, snack on my Mom's butter tarts (Didi's favorite) ... Katherine, I know what a support you have been to your Mom and I am so thankful that she had such love and care ... I am so very sorry for your family's loss ... your Mom was a special person to so many and I will always think of her with respect for the person she was and love for the dear friend who will live in my heart forever ...

Condolence: Didi and I worked together during some difficult times in my life and she showed me such kindness and generosity. I'll never forget her amazing sense of humour and her ability to speak the truth. Thank you Didi.

Condolence: Darling Didi, growing up we spent so much fun time together with our families. Being cousins meant we were extra blessed to be in each other's lives. Memories came flooding in, and still are, when Dad said he received the call from your Dad. Tears in our conversations have been flowing since then. I am so grateful that I had seen you last September, it had been too many years. Your family will always have the best memories and beautiful stories to share, along with pictures of your gorgeous face. But in my heart there will always be a special place for you.
