1928-2014
Our much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at Villa Marconi Nursing Home on April 19, 2014, in her 85th year, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pieve di Soligo, Treviso, Italy on May 24, 1928 to Emilio Lucchetta and Ginevra Casagrande. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Alfonso Padoin; her two daughters Norma Padoin and Liliana (Fadi Khalil); grandchildren Francesco Padoin, Fiorella Padoin-Castillo (Martin Castillo), Sofia Khalil, Laura (Daniel Young), Christopher Khalil and great-grandchildren Adriano and Matteo Padoin-Castillo. She will also be missed dearly by her brother, sisters and other family and friends both here and abroad.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Wednesday, April 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Madonna Della Risurrezione Parish, 1621 Fisher Avenue, Ottawa.
